Post your testing of Sunspear skils
Mods: if this is in wrong forum please move, thanks.
I decided to test Intensity [card]Intensity[/card] and see if its worth adding to my bar. I was comparing it to Glyph of Elemental Power [card]Glyph of Elemental Power[/card] to see which is better.
I tried it out with Fireball.
Heres is just Fireball on a Armor 60 target doing 112 dmg.
Here is the same target under affects of Glyph of Elemental Power doing 126 dmg.
Same target using Intensity with a rank of 8 in Sunspear Title Track which gives me 23% more dmg doing 138 dmg.
And Finally here is being under the effects of both the glyph (casted first) and Intensity doing 155 dmg.
I think that Intensity is capable of helping put out more damage but it has such a short duration that it is hard to get off more than 1 or 2 spells at the most while under its effects. Glyph, on the other hand, may not give you quite as much damage but it will work on the next 5 spells you cast. This, IMO, gives the Glyph the upper hand and seems to be a bit more useful than Intensity. As it is now, I don't think I will finding a spot on my skill bar to take Intensity along with me.
Has anyone been testing the other skills and if so how are they measuring up?

I love one of the skills.. but I don't want to post any pics or say anything about it because I am afraid it will get nerfed, haha.
But yeah, I agree with you about Glyph being the smarter choice.

Intensity should be buffed a little because if a glyph is better than a PvE skill only.....

You know what's the best part? You'll hit for like 50 damage in hard mode.

intensity is a solid percentage though, so if you use it then use a big huge spell that deals buttloads of damage, you get more actual damage out of it... I'm thinking intensity plus shockwave or sandstorm should prove fun

I've found the Mesmer Skill "Cry of Pain" as a good nuke. I use a hex like empathy to lead, followed by CoP, then E-surge. That usually softens them up a bit for the heavy duty damage and allows me to eliminate the healers who are repairing the spike.
Edit: Hope this isn't a double post. Server ate my last reply

Well whenever i use critical defenses..it almost never wears off prematurely. This was before the nerf 2 updates ago.
Also why does it only say gold coin in the (huge) pic above?
